String Course & Plinths - CD Brick and Stone

Below are Our Forticrete String Course and Plinths. The colours that these are available in are shown on the colours page, under Forticrete. Any colour other than Bath would be on a 4-8 week availability.

String Course

A String Course is a decorative horizontal band on the exterior wall of a building. Such a band, either plain or molded, is usually formed of brick or stone.

Stock

These are the String Course that we keep in our yard. On the left is the SC3 string course, it is our most popular string course as it matches the T1-40 Cill and enables you to run a String course around the house at cill height. On the right is the SC7 String Course. although it is used as a string course, it is mostly used as a Label Mould to add a bit of a feature to our Decorative Heads. Both of these items are generally kept in stock all year round, however, if we happen to not have them in stock, the availability would be 1-3 weeks.

Non-stock

To the left is the SC1 String Course. it is not kept as a stock item, however, it is available within 1-3 weeks.

Below are some of the other String Course that are not kept in stock. The availability on these items would be 4-8 weeks. Plinths

Stock

A Plinth runs around a house in a similar way to a String Course. The Plinth is used to create a single or double course splay detail, allowing change in depth to brickwork normally at the base of buildings.

The PL1 is the only plinth that is kept in stock, however, if we happen to not have them in stock, the availability would be 1-3 weeks.

Non-stock

Here are some of the other Plinth that are not kept in stock. The availability on these items would be 4-8 weeks. If there is a Plinth that you are matching too and you don’t see it above then please do not hesitate to give us a ring and we would be more than willing to get it priced up for you.
